VACOGS vs Regular Visualization Which One Actually Works?

Visualization, goal setting, mindset training, mental rehearsal, VACOGS, weight loss motivation, and personal growth all come together in this practical lesson from John Paul DeMann.

Hello folks, John Paul here.

Today, I want to talk about a tool I use called VACOGS.

Most people talk about visualization. They say, “Picture what you want.” And that can help. But I believe we can go deeper than that.

VACOGS means using your senses to make the outcome feel real before it happens.

Visual.

Auditory.

Kinesthetic.

Olfactory.

Gustatory.

Sixth sense.

I call it sensizing.

Instead of only seeing the goal, you see it, hear it, feel it, taste it, smell it, and connect with it in your gut. You make the goal so clear in your mind and body that it becomes easier to move toward it.

In this video, I share how I used this process during my own weight loss journey. I started at 233 pounds and wanted to change my body, my energy, and my confidence. Before I began, I practiced sensizing the outcome every morning, every night, and sometimes during the day when I needed the reminder.

This is not magic.

It is a tool.

A tool to help you stay focused, overcome challenges, and move toward what you want with more clarity and commitment.

If you are working toward a goal, whether it is health, performance, recovery, discipline, or a major life change, try using more than just your eyes.

Sense the outcome.

Then go live into it.
